Home Health Aides
- Assist patients with getting dressed and undressed.
- Assist patients with grooming and hygiene care.
- Make the patients bed.
- Deliver and help patients with bathing or showering.
- Light housekeeping.
- Vacuum the patient’s area.
- Organize and clean the patient’s area.
- Doing the patients’ laundry and folding clothes.
- Prepare the patient’s meal.
- Feed the patient.
- Provide companionship.

Home Health Benefits Eligibility:
- Patient must be under the care of a Medical Doctor.
- Patient is getting services under the Plan of Care established by the Medical Doctor.
- A Medical Doctor must certify that the patient needs one or more of the following:
- Skilled Nursing
- Physical Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech Therapy
- Patient must be Certified as Homebound by the Medical Doctor. Being homebound means:
- Leaving the home is a taxing effort for the patient.
- Leaving the home is not recommended due to the patient’s medical condition.
- The medical condition keeps the patient from leaving the home without the help from another person; the need for special transportation; or the use of assistive devices such as a wheelchair or a walker.
*A patient is still considered homebound if they leave the home for medical treatments or for short & infrequent non-medical reasons such as attending religious services or attending adult day care service.
